Yongpong Resort Dragon Valley Hotel is located at the foot of Yongpyong ski slopes, the venue for upcoming 2018 Winter Olympics alpine skiing games. Free WiFi is available in all guest rooms and parking is possible on site.

Good stay at an old facilities

Facilities were old but they are well maintained. The villa condo type was located a bit far from the restaurants. Key-less entry was convenient and check out also could be done online. There were many activities we could try during our stay.

Not really. Front desk was not easy to find for first visitor.

I enjoyed my stay but please lower that heating

Position is obviously great to hit the slopes. Kitchenette is useful to fix breakfast and a quick meal. New code system for doors instead of keys. Mobile check in/out very convenient.

The rooms need some refurbishment, and bedding was quite bad (e.g. found ripped pillow covers). Yes, on the plus side they give extra pillows... unfortunately they are all same, very stiff. But the worst thing is: an absolute DISGRACE to have the room heating pre-set at 27 C. We kept lowering it but every time we left the room it was back to sauna levels. Awful, and even more so when thinking about the waste of energy and environment.

Price per value is superb! But the room was way too dry..

Location was excellent, close to entertainment, food and the slopes. Also, super friendly and accommodating staff.

Bed was very firm, not comfortable for me. Some of the finishing touches in the room weren't up to scratch, namely the flooring which was peeling and exposed in some areas.

The Location is great. The name is Dragon Valley hotel.. but it also seems like some of the reviews, and photos on here are from the Tower Condo (both owned by yongpyong so I wonder if they just have the one booking.com page as neither is named and you cannot find Tower Condo on this site. I've stayed at both. Dragon Valley is nicer and the beds more comfortable but Tower Condo is okay.

The central consol had faulty wiring. Would turn itself on in the middle of the night.. which isn't a completly terrible thing in itself. What was terrible was that this central consol controls the lights.... the thing kept turning on the lights in the middle of the night. Terrible night's sleep. I waited some time to speak to someone to let them know so no one else has to experience it. If it happens you pull the bed away from the wall and unplug that bish.

Very near to ski slopes and lifts. The nearest in fact of all accommodation options offered. May be a bit on the older side compared to the rest but best value in terms of cost and proximity. Totally functional layout and amenities in room. No dental kit is provided though. Bring your own!

It was close to the ski rental shop. They gave us an early check in as we reached around 8.30am on the purple bus from seoul. There was a shuttle bus from honggye intercity bus terminal which wasnt stated on their website.

There were no response at all from the staffs before the trip. It should be necessary during this covid period as alot of companies were not open and there were alot of things to check and plan. Purple bus was initially not available till a few days before the trip and we were going to cancel given the radio silence from the hotel. Room was noisy at night as it faced the ski slope where they sprayed artificial snow all night long. There was also a sensor light outside the toilet that kept turning on throughout the night whenever we move under our blankets. Totally disrupted our rest. Would have been cheaper if you manage to buy the ski package.
